(Inner Circle DJs Ltd – Inc The Wedding Players) – DJ (referred to as Artist below) Terms & Conditions of Booking (Jan 2023) – DJs

- The client is responsible for any malicious and/or accidental damage or theft of equipment caused by guests attending their event and will be liable to make good any losses incurred, and any loss of earnings because of the (this shall include the professional cleaning of DJ Equipment Covers, because of food and drink spillages over equipment)
- The client will ensure there is sufficient adult supervision of the children attending the
- The supervising adults will ensure that the children do not interfere with the disco equipment or prevent the Artist from performing his duties to the (See point 8)
- If in the unlikely event of the Client needing to make a claim against the Artist, he/she agrees that the matter will be between the Client and the Artist named (or replacement Artist), and no liability will be proportioned in any part to Inner Circle DJs Ltd.
- Inner Circle DJs Ltd or the Artist do not accept responsibility for possible hearing damage caused from the listening of amplified music at this event, and we would recommend using appropriate ear protection, especially for young children and babies
- In the event of exceptional bad weather that prevents the Artist getting to the venue (such as snow, severe storm etc) we reserve the right to cancel the performance, however a full refund will be This is the extent of the Artists or Inner Circle DJs liability.
Licences
- It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the party venue has all necessary event licences and licences for the playing of recorded
Payments / Cancellation
- Initial Reservation Fees are non-refundable as:
1) they represent work carried out and expenses incurred to the point of completing a booking; plus 2) a reasonable amount of compensation for potential lost income owing to a reservation for this client.
If the contract becomes ‘Frustrated’, owing to the event being prevented from going ahead by Government Legislation the fees indicated in 17. 1) will still apply, but other monies paid will be returned
Book with Confidence – Initial Fees will be transferable to comparable dates for situations such as COVID postponements.
- Administration charge for issuing rescheduled date Booking Forms : £15 plus VAT
- All outstanding fees or balances are payable by bank transfer no later than 30 days before the event date.
- The Artist reserves the right to not perform if payment in full has not been received before the due start time of the performance. (Cheques cannot be accepted as a means of payment on the day of performance)
- If on the evening of performance, the Artist is asked to perform for an additional time (not pre-arranged, then if it is possible to do so, the Artist will, only after s/he receives payment in cash @ a rate of £50 per hour (FOR DJ ONLY) (any time before 1am) or part of for the Artist and any staff with him/her. This is non-negotiable) – after 1am play time, the fee will be to the DJ discretion, if they are able to continue. They are not contractually obliged to do so. (the rate will be between £70-£100 ph)
